Have you experienced any of these recently?

Your task list is growing as fast as your business

You feel disorganised and out of control

You’ve got too much to do and not enough time

You’re unsure how to delegate or who to

Your business is going great, all your hard work is paying off and things are heading in the right direction but it feels chaotic. Things are disorganised, you’re feeling out-of-control and it’s unsettling when you’re not quite sure if you’ve done everything you should have.

And when things are chaotic invariably it takes longer to do tasks and you end up working into the evening or over the weekend to get on top of things. You feel like you’re missing out on time with your family and friends and are starting to wonder if running your own business is even worth it.

It’s easy to feel like your business is running you, not the other way round.

You need to get some help but amongst all the chaos you don’t know where to start.

You wish you knew how to get things more structured so that life is easier for you and you’d love to know how to get help without losing control and things being done incorrectly.

Take a moment to imagine how much better you’ll feel if you get in control of your business.

how much calmer and less stressed would you feel if you knew exactly how many enquiries you have, who they are from, what they want, when you spoke to them last, what emails you’ve sent to them and you know the system will remind you next time you need to speak them?

How much more confident would you feel dealing with your customers if your project/customer records were all in one place, organised, accessible at the click of a button and you can even share them with your customer if you want?

How much more secure would you feel if you had proper processes and systems for your finances so that you’re paying your invoices on time, your customers are paying you on time and you know exactly where you are financially?

And if there are standard ways to do things it’ll be much easier for you get some help and still maintain control of what’s going on.

And of course, getting some help will give you more time – either time to spend with your family and friends or time to focus on growing the business instead of just keeping it afloat like you’re doing at the moment.

Keeping your business afloat is OK in the short-term but eventually, if you don’t do something to improve things, either you’ll get really fed up and simply decide it’s not worth the hassle and go and find a J.O.B. or possibly worse, you’ll carry on just living to work rather than working to live.

I’m Sarah Gathercole and I’m known as The Office Fixer. My mission is to help small business owners release themselves from their business through process, automation & delegation so they can create more time to do the things they want to do.

I’ve worked in offices all my life and have run my own admin support business since 2006, so I know a thing or two about improving office efficiency.

My Office Toolbox membership and other packages and courses allow other small business owners to access my 30+ years of skills and experience so that they can reduce the time they spend on paperwork and reduce the stress and chaos of the least favourite part of everyone’s business.

What will your office look like in 2030?

Three years ago I went on a road trip in my motorhome to prove my theory that I can work from anywhere. Consequently I minimised my "office" to fit it into 1 plastic box and a laptop bag! It was an interesting exercise to realise just how much of what I need is...
